Having studied at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, with a dual focus in filmmaking and industrial design, JT brings a unique perspective to his craft as a cinematographer.

Born and raised in Mattapan during the crack epidemic, JT witnessed both the hardships and the resilience of his community. His experiences have shaped his artistic vision, which centers on narratives of personal transformation. His films explore the journeys of characters who, despite the weight of poverty, societal pressures, and racism, find growth and enlightenment. Through his work, JT aims to highlight the strength and potential that emerge from even the most challenging circumstances.
